Predicting election 2024 is ‘dangerous’ – Owusu-Bempah

Reverend Isaac Owusu-Bempah, the founder and head of Glorious Word Power Ministries International, has emphasized the importance of extreme caution while predicting the outcome of the 2024 general election.

According to him, the spiritual election is now cloaked in doubt, so any attempt to predict the outcome would almost certainly fail.

“As I speak to you, what has made Ghana’s election in 2024 scary is that whoever would boldly assert that a certain individual is the destined winner should be very careful because things keep changing…,” he told Kwame Nkrumah Tikese of Okay FM in an interview on Wednesday, April 3, 2024.

He underlined that the approaching election is a spiritual war rather than a physical one, and that the candidate with the most spiritual support will win.

“There is a spiritual conflict, and the winner will rise to the president. So, if you find someone who is spiritually powerful or a coach who can assist you spiritually, you will undoubtedly be victorious,” he concluded.

Owusu-Bempah’s comment comes just a few days after Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), visited his church during the Easter season.

During his visit, the vice president offered Dr. Bawumia a special chair to sit on and then performed a prayer over him.

“No one understands what I have done; only the skies do. God bless you. The pastor responded, “You are a good man with a good heart.”

His remarks and actions have been widely perceived as a defining moment for Dr. Bawumia, although Owusu-Bempah claims that his gesture was not symbolic.

In an interview with Okay FM, the prophet emphasized that he just handed Dr. Bawumia a chair while offering prayers since he was exhausted from his Easter activities.
