Poona Ford is an American football defensive tackle for the National Football League’s Seattle Seahawks (NFL).
Ford excelled at Hilton Head Island High School.
He originally committed to the University of Louisville but changed his mind after coach Charlie Strong left to become head coach at the University of Texas.
He attended Texas and was the 2017 Big 12 Conference Defensive Lineman of the Year before signing as an undrafted free agent with the Seahawks in 2018.
