A Police Chief Inspector from the Central Region, Benjamine Doe Kuwornu, has been placed under arrest by the Ghana Police Service for misbehaving in a video that the Police Administration was able to view.

This will enable a comprehensive investigation into his actions in compliance with Police Service Regulations to take place. In an official statement, the police stated, “We would like to reaffirm our promise to the public that the Police Service will make every effort to maintain professionalism in the execution of our mandate.”

In a video he shared on social media, the Chief Inspector of Police discussed President Akufo-Addo and his Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

Chief Inspector Kuwornu attacked President Akufo-Addo in a video that Citi Newsroom was able to view, calling him “incompetent” and ruining Ghana’s resources.

“Mr. President, you’re ruining our country. I would like to speak with you one-on-one,” he said, pointing out that “you are seriously mistaken.”

Chief Inspector Kuwornu went on to say that President Akufo-Addo’s advisors are incapable of telling him the truth, which causes the President to commit numerous serious errors that undermine Ghana’s founding principles.
