President John Dramani Mahama was in the Eastern Region to cut sod for the establishment of a University in the Eastern Region of Ghana and his arrival in the region was met with tears from some party faithful who could not come to terms with fact that the President lost the election.
President John Dramani Mahama will be leaving office on January 7 after handing over to the New Patriotic Party having lost the election held on December 7.
At the short ceremony to cut the sod for the commencement of work on the University, President John Dramani Mahama mentioned that it was imperative that the new government ensures continuity in existing projects in order to ensure the forward going of the country’s development.
