The newly appointed general captain of the Black Stars, Asamoah Gyan has met the head coach of the team, Kwesi Appiah days after a dispute over the captaincy of the team took the nation by storm.
The dispute emerged when former captain of the team, Asamoah Gyan announced his retirement from the team following a decision by the coach to hand over the captaincy of the team to Andre Ayew, as Gyan was announced as the general captain of the team.
Gyan later decided to rescind his decision to quit the team following an intervention by the President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo.
It was all joy as smiles were seen beaming on the faces of Asamoah Gyan and coach Kwesi Appiah when they met. Below are pictures of their meeting:

President Akufo-Addo also expressed his approval of the reunion on Twitter. He tweeted to endorse the meeting as the way to go:
