Ghanaian actress Salma Mumin has taken her benevolence to the next level as she feeds over 1,000 ‘hungry’ children.
The charity work happened at Jamestown in Accra on Easter Sunday (April 21, 2019) under her new imitative called ‘Salma Feeds’.
The project is aimed at feeding thousands of hungry children across Ghana and further eradicating hunger in the country.
“The move is to help eradicate hunger to help make lives better for millions of people, starting with the children,” she stated in an Instagram post on Thursday, April 25.
According to her, the next charity will happen on December 14, 2019, which happens to be her birthday. She has targeted over 2,000 Ghanaian children with that charity.
She urged Ghanaian parents to put their children’s physical, intellectual and emotional development above all because anything beyond that hampers their future.
“The best start in life is critical in a child’s first few years, not only for survival but to his/her physical, intellectual and emotional development.”
“So, these deprivations greatly hamper children’s ability to achieve their full potential, contributing to a society’s cycle of endless poverty and hunger.”
