The CEO of Lokhanda, Mr Lord Kwadjo Andoh and his team Ingrid Epezagne and Amy Okaitei took the pupils through simple and effective real-life scenarios on how to use their voice, mental preparedness and tactical physical self-defense skills to avoid, defend and protect themselves against bullies, strangers and also stay safe or quickly escape or survive against situations that makes them feel uncomfortable.

Their self-defense Rights and Responsibilities were thoroughly explained such as to help them know how they deserve to be treated and how all people deserve to be treated such as “deciding their boundaries and respecting others and also “how to say Yes, to say No and to change their mind at any time”. This made them became aware of their actions for themselves, friends and people in the community to help promote respect and equality for all. The kids were also taken through basic first-aid skills to avoid sudden emergencies such as chokes, injuries and CPR training.

The Proprietress of Blessed Home School was so thrilled to such a great awareness and training program from the Lokhanda and stated that “I wish Lokhanda kiddie safety program becomes a part of our educational curriculum for helping educate and promote personal safety and self-defense skills across the nation” thank you Lokhanda and 7hearts foundation for such a great project.
