Gifty Anti, a broadcast journalist from Ghana, posted some old pictures of herself on social media. The TV host was seen speaking to what appeared to be a throng while holding a microphone in the vintage pictures.
She had her hair styled like an afro and was wearing a multicolored outfit in the picture that she posted on her verified Instagram page on May 4, 2023. A few older people were seated at a table behind the media star while she spoke to the crowd.
The media star continued, “I was the president and founder of the first-ever ladies’ club at the Ghana Institute of Journalism, GIJ, in 1995.” Her journey toward women’s advocacy and confidence appears to have begun in the 1990s.
The stylish writer, mother, and women’s rights activist continued by saying that her endurance and constancy come from her DNA, which explains why she has been a trailblazer for women to this point.
