Phillip Dorsett is an American renounced player, who plays as a wide receiver for the National Football League’s Houston Texans. In the first round of the 2015 NFL Draft, the Indianapolis Colts selected him from Miami (FL), where he played intercollege football. He plays with stars like Jimmy Morrissey and Jalen Camp.
Dorsett attended Florida’s Fort Lauderdale’s St. Thomas Aquinas High School. Both the sprinting and jumping competitions featured Dorsett as one of the best competitors in the state. At the 2011 Louie Bing Classic, he recorded personal-best leaps of 7.55 meters (24-7) in the long jump and 14.59 meters (47-9) in the triple jump.
Dorsett was added to the Houston Texans practice squad on December 4, 2021. On December 11, he was elevated to the active roster. Dorsett extended his contract with the Texans on December 15 so it now extends through the 2022 campaign.
