Peter Rowley, born on April 29, 1952, is a New Zealand comedian and writer. Harrison Rowley was his prior name. He is most recognized for his television work as a comedic foil and straight man to comedians such as Billy T. James, David McPhail, and Jon Gadsby.

Rowley began his comic career in New Zealand.

He made his New Zealand television debut as an actor and writer in the satirical sketch show A Week of It and later collaborated with show stars David McPhail and Jon Gadsby on McPhail and Gadsby and Letter to Blanchy.
