Peter Navarro served in the Trump administration as the Assistant to the President, Director of Trade and Manufacturing Policy, and the national Defense Production Act policy coordinator.
He has been indicted for contempt of Congress after his refusal to cooperate in the House January 6 committee’s investigation.

In 2001, Navarro married Leslie Lebon, who is an architect based in California. Navarro then became the stepfather to Lebon’s son from a previous marriage.
Together, the couple and Lebon’s son lived in Laguna Beach while Navarro was a professor at UC Irvine.
Lebon filed for divorce in Orange County in later 2018 and the divorce was finalized in December 2020.

Navarro was born to Albert “Al” Navarro. His father is a saxophonist and clarinetist who led a house band, which played summers in New Hampshire and winters in Florida.
His mother, Evelyn Littlejohn, a Saks Fifth Avenue secretary, in Palm Beach, Florida.
After his parent’s divorce when he was either 9 or 10, he lived with his mother.
