Mr Logic, an entertainment critic and artiste management, has stated that the ‘false’ label slapped on Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia by certain Ghanaians disturbs him and makes his blood boil.
He said that no one in the world is always honest, and the fact that some of Bawumia’s words do not come true does not imply that he is a liar, as some Ghanaians believe.
He stated that he feels uncomfortable when he hears people label the vice president a liar, and that it is unjust for Ghanaians to do so given the complexities of his duty as the second gentleman of the land.
Mr Logic went on to advise Dr Bawumia to be cautious with his words and avoid gaining a reputation that would harm his political standing.
“He [Bawumia] should be cautious about some of his words because when they contradict what you represent, people start calling you names. People have recently accused him of lying. It makes me extremely uncomfortable when I hear Ghanaians call the vice president a liar; it is not fair.
“No one has ever been completely honest because of technicalities. “His role as vice president is not easy, so calling him a liar is a huge defamation of his character,” he stated in an interview with Kingdom FM.
Dr. Bawumia has been labeled a “liar” by some members of the public due to his failure to keep various promises made during the campaign time.
He will run in the 2024 elections as the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) flag bearer.
