Senator for South Australia since 2002, Penelope Ying-Yen Wong (born 5 November 1968) is an Australian politician.
She has been the Australian Labor Party’s (ALP) Senate leader since 2013, and the incoming Albanese government will appoint her as Minister for Foreign Affairs and Leader of the Government in the Senate on May 23, 2022.
