Following the death of one of the prolific drummers of our time Jerry Allison, his ex-wife is being sought after.
American musician Jerry Ivan Allison was best known for being the Crickets’ drummer and co-writer of the songs (That’ll Be the Day) and (Peggy Sue,) both of which were recorded with Buddy Holly.

Interestingly, Peggy Sue Gerron was the inspiration for the Buddy Holly song (Peggy Sue) Jerry Allison, the drummer for the Crickets, was her husband. The song was initially dubbed (Cindy Lou) and was composed by Holly for his niece.
Allison requested Holly to change the title to (Peggy Sue) after she and Peggy Sue split up in an effort to reconcile.
In fact, Allison and Peggy Sue got back together and spent the majority of the 1960s together until he passed away at 78 years old.
The real cause of her death still remains a mystery to unravel however, it is a known fact that she passed away on a Monday, October 1, 2018, at the age of 78 years.
