Some orphans in Kumasi could not contain their joy as they joined millions of others worldwide and in Ghana to celebrate Valentine’s Day, while many others spent the holiday dining and having fun with their spouses.

A charity group called Peadato Foundation dined and celebrated with over seventy orphans at the King Jesus Charity Home, who had not anticipated an early celebration this year. The orphans were overjoyed.

Additionally, the group paid off at least three students’ school loans.

During the Peadato Foundation’s visit, the impoverished kids at the King Jesus Charity Home joyfully buzzed to music.

As they played games and had dinner with volunteers and Foundation members, it was a moment that brought them great happiness and smiles.

“I am very glad that you visited us today. I appreciated the food and the games. This is not what I expected on Valentine’s Day,” remarked one of them.

One of the Peadato Foundation’s primary duties is to honor the occasion of its first Orphanage Charity Event, a yearly project that aims to show the kids love and happiness. The care facility received supplies from the charity, such as stationery, food, and beverages.

“Love is what Valentine’s Day is all about. She said, “Coming here and making these little ones smile is a better way to celebrate this day.”

After paying for their tuition for a semester, the Foundation continued to fund the education of a minimum of three youngsters.

After speaking with the management, we were aware that some of these children might require assistance. “We could visit the school and learn more about how we can help them,” stated Philip Seth Ackom, the Peadato Foundation’s executive director.

Peadato Limited Company organized the event as a corporate social responsibility initiative, and it hopes to replicate the kindness.

The King Jesus Charity Home was founded in 1995 and has provided shelter to several orphans and street kids.

However, the orphanage hopes to upgrade its facilities in order to accommodate and care for additional orphans and street kids.

Many of the kids we’ve produced are now teachers or nurses, while yet others are enrolled in vocational programs. “We require assistance to finish our new building, which is currently at the foundation stage,” the orphanage’s administrator, Esther Owusu Ampofowaa, stated.
