Pavel Nedved, a former midfielder for the Czech national team, was born on August 30, 1972. He is currently 50 years old.
Nedved began his football career in his home in Czechoslovakia where he was born on August 30, 1972, in Cheb and raised in the nearby town of Skalná.
He was always interested in football, and when he was five years old, he started playing for his hometown team, Tatran Skalná. In 1985, Nedved transferred to Rudá Hvzda Cheb, where he played for one season before spending five with Koda Plze. As part of his military obligations in 1990, Nedved was loaned to Dukla Prague, a club run by the Army.
He played for VTJ Dukla Tábor, a lower division club also run by the Army, during his first year at Dukla Prague. Nedved played his first game for Dukla Prague on October 28, 1991. Before completing his military obligations in 1991, he played with Dukla for one season, bringing an end to his loan from Plze. In 1992, he moved on to Sparta Prague. If Nedved moved to a foreign club, Plze was guaranteed a share of the transfer fee in the amount of 30%.
