Paul Reubens was a well-known American actor, comedian, writer, producer, and children’s entertainer. Paul, better known as Pee-wee Herman (a name he got from a comic fictional character created and portrayed by him), was born on August 27, 1952, in Peekskill, New York, U.S.
Paul started his career in the 1970s as an improvisational comedian and stage actor acter joining the Los Angeles troupe The Groundlings. Subsequently, he starred in films and television series during the 1980s.
