On Thursday, the actor died after falling at London’s King’s Cross train station, a famous site featured in the “Harry Potter” novels and films. Grant was taken to the hospital right away and pronounced brain dead.
“My dad was [a] legend, bless him. Everyone loved him,” Sophie Jayne Grant, his daughter, confirmed the news to Fox News Digital. Sophie subsequently changed her Facebook profile image to a nice picture of her father on March 18. Grant was also the grandfather of three of her children.
Grant appeared as an Ewok in “Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi,” starring Carrie Fisher, Harrison Ford, and Mark Hamill.
In the 2001 film “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone,” he played a goblin who worked at Gringotts Wizarding Bank in Diagon Alley.
He was known to perform his own stunts in films such as “Willow,” directed by Ron Howard and starring Val Kilmer, and “Legend,” directed by Ridley Scott and starring Tom Cruise. Janet Crowson was the father of his three children.
