A pastor and founder of a church in Nuaso, Odumase Krobo, in the Eastern region of Ghana, has been hospitalized after a deadly attack by a self-acclaimed prophet.

The suspect, who is said to have been allegedly suffering from hay fever, had visited the pastor for an evening service, but the night took a turn for the worse. The attack left the victim with serious injuries, including blood oozing from the mouth and ears.

The incident occurred on Tuesday, May 3, 2023, when both pastors decided to pass the night in the temple.

The suspect, identified as Prophet Narh, attacked his colleague with some implements he picked up and hit the victim multiple times on the head and face.

Luckily for the victim, his cry for help got the neighbors’ attention, but the suspect managed to escape.

The victim, Rev. Peter Narh, was rushed to St. Martins De Pores Hospital in Agormanya, where he is receiving treatment. According to the wife of the pastor, Mrs. Elizabeth Mamley Narh, the family of the suspect claimed he may be suffering from hay fever and had escaped from home for some days.

The case has been reported to the police, and investigations are underway. It is uncertain what triggered the attack, but the incident has caused shock and concern among the residents of Nuaso.
