On day twelve of the invasion, a Ukrainian actor and a local mayor both died fighting for their nation as Russian forces continue their ruthless attacks.
Pasha Lee, 33, was slain in Irpin, Ukraine, while the city was invaded. He was noted for his acting, presenting, and voice dubbing skills.
Yuriy Prilipko, 61, a ‘hero’ mayor of Gostomel village, north-west of Kyiv, was shot and killed while supporting his people by passing out bread and medicine to defenseless residents.
In a heartbreaking final Instagram post on Saturday, Lee shared a photo of himself in his military uniform.
He tweeted, “There was an opportunity to sit down and take a picture of how we are being bombed for the last 48 hours, and we are smiling because we will manage and everything will be UKRAINE WE ARE WORKING!”
