Parker Coody is one of the fast-rising American professional golfers. The 23-year-old champ turned professional in 2022. He had his high school education at the Plano, Texas, West High School, where he began his golfing career.
He won a team state title in 2016 and an individual state title in 2017. Parker continued his education at the University of Texas, where he graduated with a degree in Corporate Communications. Parker once broke a bone in his arm during a non-golf-related relay race and he was sidelined for two months.

Both Parker and his Twin Brother are third-generation professional golfers. Their father, Kyle Coody played golf while at the University of Texas from 1983 to 1987, and made over 20 Korn Ferry Tour starts from 1990-96. Their grandfather, Charles, played on the PGA TOUR from the 1960s through the mid-1980s, winning three times on TOUR, including the 1971 Masters Tournament.
