Pádraig Peter Harrington is an Irish professional golfer who plays on the European Tour, PGA Tour, and the PGA Tour Champions. He spent over 300 weeks in the top 10 of the world rankings and reached a career-high ranking of third in July 2008.

The golfer and his wife have lovely children, Patrick was born in 2003 and Ciaran was born in 2007. Harrington has won three major championships: The Open Championship in 2007 and 2008 and the PGA Championship, also in 2008.
Pádraig grew up in Rathfarnham, Also turned professional later that year, joining the European Tour in 1996. Harrington came to professional golf at a relatively late age, having studied accountancy at university for several years while playing high-standard amateur golf.
In 2022, Harrington started playing on PGA Tour Champions. He finished second to Steve Stricker in his first senior major, The Tradition. In March 2023 it was announced that Harrington would be elected World Golf Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2024.
