Following the news of Anne Heche’s death, the woman whose house she fatally drove into posted a video on social media to express her grief.

Lynne Michele’s house caught fire when the actress lost control of her automobile and crashed into the front of the house last week.

She previously shared a video to thank supporters for “the overwhelming amount of love and compassion and generosity and kindness that people have shown over the past week.”

“‘ she said. It’s clearly been the most chaotic, terrible, and confusing period, so I’ll try to get back to everyone and read everyone’s comments gradually, but thank you, thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart.

‘It’s absolutely overwhelming.’ You have had a tremendous influence on my life, so thank you very much to everyone, and I will keep you updated.’

A fund established to aid Mishele with her financial difficulties as a result of the tragedy has already raised $150,000.

Following the announcement that the actress’s life support will be turned off and her organs donated, Anne Heche’s family issued a statement on Friday afternoon.

“We have lost a brilliant light, a lovely and gentle soul.”
