Ndan Ya Naa Abukari II, the overlord of Dagbon, has congratulated Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam, the recently appointed Minister of Finance.

Through a statement provided by his secretary, the Lion King expressed that Ghana can look forward to economic renewal with Dr. Adam’s appointment as Finance Minister.
The Ya Naa stated, “Your elevation to this crucial position is not only a testament to your dedication and exemplary leadership, but also a beacon of hope for the economic prosperity of our country.”
The minister, who also serves as the MP for Karaga in the Northern Region, has the king of Dagbon’s trust.
“Your proven dedication to public service and deep comprehension of financial matters instill confidence in your ability to skillfully and honorably navigate the complexities of our nation’s finances.”
“As you set out on this noble journey, know that you carry the hopes and aspirations of the Ghanaian populace,” the Ya Naa continued. We have faith in your ability to create equitable development, sustain economic growth, and guarantee financial security for all residents.

He promised to help Dr. Adam succeed in his new position and to stand by him at all times. “We are united in our support of your endeavors, and your appointment signifies a new chapter in our nation’s economic narrative,” the Dagbon overlord declared.

In what may be considered his most comprehensive ministerial reorganization to date, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo moved Honorable Mohammed Amin Adam a to the position of Minister of Finance’s leadership on Wednesday, February 14, 2024. The Karaga lawmaker served as the Ministry of Finance’s minister of state prior to this promotion.
