Over 30 speakers booked for 5th Africa Tourism Leadership Forum in Botswana

The fifth edition of the Africa Tourism Leadership Forum will host top industry experts, speakers, business leaders, ministers, policymakers, and diplomats across the globe, the organisers have revealed.

The event scheduled for October 24 to 26, 2022, at the Grand Palm, Gaborone International Convention Centre, in Botswana, will host more than 30 world-renowned global industry experts. Further, more than 300 delegates from 30 countries will attend the event.

According to African Tourism Partners (ATP), the organisers of the annual event, the 5th Africa Tourism Leadership Forum will host a roundtable discussion among Chairpersons, CEOs, and Executives of private sector tourism associations and bodies across the continent.

Considering the decrease in non-African inbound travel as a result of COVID-19, this leadership forum is aimed at prioritising the role that national tourism private associations and bodies in unblocking intra-Africa travel bottlenecks.

The Executive Secretary of SADC Secretariat, H.E. Elias Mpedi Magosi has already been confirmed to grace the occasion.

Ghana’s Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Hon. Dr. Ibrahim Awal, and Francis Doku of Media General, have been booked to share their experiences and expertise.
