Dismissing claims that patients have been taking their dead remains out of the Volta Region’s Ho Teaching Hospital due to a broken morgue, the hospital has moved on. Such a situation is not going to happen anymore.

According to management, there is no basis for the reports that have been circulating in some media channels.

“Our mortuary is in perfect condition,” the hospital’s management declared in a statement released by the public relations department on February 14, 2024.

According to the hospital, there was a problem on Thursday, February 8, 2024, but it was addressed and fixed right away.

The message went on to say, “We would like to notify our current and potential clients as well as the broader public that one of our compressors failed last week.

“Attempts were made to correct the situation.”

The hospital’s management wants to provide the general public with confidence that it will continue to maintain the appropriate operation of its facilities.
