Black Stars winger, Osman Bukari, is poised to make a move to Austin FC in the Major League Soccer this summer after a successful stint with Red Star Belgrade.

Reports from Mozzart Sport have indicated that the Ghanaian star is ready to take the next step in his career in the MLS. Earlier this year, he had received a lucrative offer of €10 million, but instead of joining Chicago, who had shown interest in him, he is set to sign with Austin FC in Texas.

During the winter transfer window, Red Star had received an offer for Bukari, but they opted to keep him as he was a key player in their quest to defend the league title. Chicago had offered €10 million for his services, which would have been a significant transfer deal for Red Star. However, they have now agreed to a fee of €7 million for the talented winger.

Since joining Red Star in 2022, Bukari has proven to be a valuable asset to the team. He has excelled in Champions League matches, scoring against top clubs such as Manchester City and Young Boys.

Despite facing some challenges during the spring season, including some missed opportunities in crucial games, Bukari has cemented his place as one of Red Star’s best foreign players in recent memory. With an impressive record of 77 appearances, 25 goals, and 20 assists, Bukari has certainly made his mark at the Serbian club. His move to Austin FC will give him the opportunity to showcase his talent in the MLS and continue his development as a top footballer.
