Orrin Hatch, a famous American politician, a husband, and a father of six children, has died.
He passed away in Salt Lake City on Saturday, April 23, 2022, at the age of 88.
Hatch was a former Republican Sen. Orrin Hatch and the longest-serving US senator in Utah history. He served from 1977 to 2019 and was also a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
He also chaired the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions from 1981 to 1987.

Together with his only wife, Elaine Hatch, Hatch had six adult children; three sons and three daughters.
Their names are Scott Hatch, Alysa Hatch, Brent Hatch, Jesse Hatch, Marcia Hatch, and Kimberly Hatch.
Kimberly is a writer who describes herself as “a problem solver, environmentalist, gardener, foodie, equestrian, dog lover, volunteer.”
Scott is reportedly a lobbyist working with Walker, Martin & Hatch LLC, a lobbying firm based in Washington.
Alyssa is a Senior Product Analyst at Airbyte. According to her LinkedIn profile, she is an “ambitious, results-driven analytics consultant with 4+ years of experience using data to inform and drive strategic solutions.’
She adds that she is “highly skilled in data visualization, statistical analysis, database manipulation, and communicating complex data to non-technical audiences and always learning to improve and expand my skill set.”
She said she is currently attending Western Governor’s University for an M.S. in Data Analytics.
For the rest of Hatch’s children, not much is known about them. It seems they enjoy their private lives.
