Oona Castilla Chaplin is a Spanish-Swiss actress.
She is best known for her roles as Talisa Maegyr in the HBO TV series Game of Thrones, Kitty Trevelyan in the BBC drama The Crimson Field, and Zilpha Geary in the series Taboo.

Oona Chaplin was born on June 4, 1986, in Madrid, Spain, into the multinational acting Chaplin family. Her mother is the English-American actress Geraldine Leigh Chaplin.
Geraldine is the first child of Charlie Chaplin and his fourth wife, Oona O’Neill. She came to prominence with her portrayal of Tonya in David Lean’s Doctor Zhivago. For her breakout role, she received a Golden Globe nomination.
She has also made appearances in a number of critically recognized Spanish and French films including Les Uns et les Autres and Life Is a Bed of Roses.
Chaplin’s father is Chilean cinematographer Patricio Castilla. She also has a half-brother named Shane from her mother’s former relationship with the film director Carlos Saura.
