Ons Jabeur was born on August 28, 1994, in Ksar Hellal, Tunisia, and grew up in Sousse. Her mother was a recreational tennis player who introduced her to the sport when she was three years old.
From the age of four to thirteen, she trained with coach Nabil Mlika for ten years. She moved to Tunis at the age of 12 to train at the Lycée Sportif El Menzah, a national sports high school for the country’s promising athletes.

Jabeur and her husband, Karim Kamoun do not have any children at the moment.
She began her training at the age of 16 in Belgium and France. On the 6th of June 2022, Jabeur was ranked number 4 in women’s tennis by the Women’s Tennis Association. She is currently the number 1 tennis player in her country, Tunisia. She has 2 WTA singles titles, 11 singles,and 1 doubles on the ITF Women’s Circuit under her belt.
