According to the Miami Herald, Courtney Clenney, the model for OnlyFans and Instagram who fatally stabbed her lover to death in Miami in April, has been detained on a murder accusation.
Clenney, who is 26 years old, was apprehended on Wednesday in Hawaii and will eventually be extradited to Miami-Dade County to stand trial.
She faces a second-degree murder accusation in connection with the stabbing death of Christian “Toby” Obumseli on April 3.
Her Miami defense attorney, Frank Prieto, confirmed her detention on Wednesday afternoon and claimed that she had been in Hawaii receiving treatment for substance addiction and post-traumatic stress disorder.
The arrest warrant was still under seal, according to a news release issued by the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office on Wednesday night.
At a press conference on Thursday in the late afternoon, State Attorney Katherine Fernandez, City Police Chief Manuel Morales, and South Florida U.S. Marshal Gadyaces Serralta will provide more information about the arrest.
