Olivier Jonathan Giroud, a striker for Serie A club AC Milan and the France national team, was born in France on September 30, 1986. Due to his dedication, strength shot power, and propensity for scoring goals, he is regarded as one of the most undervalued forwards in the world.

Before joining Tours in 2008, Giroud spent his first season of senior club football playing for his local team Grenoble. At the time, he was 21. He was named Ligue 2 Player of the Year in 2010 after finishing the campaign as the league’s top scorer. He later made a €2 million transfer to Montpellier, breaking the previous club record for an association football player.

Later, he joined Arsenal, where he won three FA Cups and helped the team end a nine-year trophy drought. He presently has the eighth-highest all-time goalscoring position for the team.

Before joining crosstown rivals Chelsea in 2018 for a cost of £18 million (€20.7 million), Giroud won the FA Cup, the UEFA Champions League, and the UEFA Europa League. He won the latter tournament in 2019 with the highest score. When AC Milan won the Serie A in 2021–2022, Giroud joined them and helped them end an 11-year league title drought.
