Oleksiy Novikov won both of this year’s World’s Ultimate Strongman shows, the first in Bahrain (March 13th) and the second in Dubai (April) (18th of September).
On July 24, Novikov won Giants Live (Strongman Classic) at the Royal Albert Hall in London. However, he finished a dismal fourth in his heat at the 2021 World’s Strongest Man and did not qualify for the final.

He once won the Arnold Strongman Classic South America in April 2019, qualifying him for the 2020 Arnold Strongman Classic. Novikov also earned first place at the Arnold Strongman Classic Africa in May of that year.
Novikov finished second in the Arnold Strongman Classic in 2022.
After defeating Fernando Verdasco in the second round of the draft for Ukraine, he went on to win Europe’s Strongest Man 2022, despite having limited training availability owing to his participation in the draft for Ukraine.
