Oleg Prudky died on May 24, 2022.
He was a two-time amateur champion in his native Ukraine and was called up to the Ukrainian Otamans squad for the semi-professional World Series of Boxing tournament, a team that also included Vasyl Lomachenko and Oleksandr Usyk.
He was 30.

Mariana paid a touching tribute to her late husband on Facebook.
“War takes away the best,” she wrote. I don’t believe you’re gone, I don’t believe you’re gone.
