Family member appeals for financial support for Okomfour Kwadee’s treatment
Ezekiel Aguyire, a family member of hiplife musician Jerry Anaba, popularly known as Okomfour Kwadee, has made a heartfelt plea to the public for financial assistance to help the artiste receive medical treatment.
In a recent interview with Joy FM, Ezekiel disclosed that Kwadee is currently in their hometown of Mirigu Nabango in the Upper East Region. The ‘Obiaa Ba Nnye’ hitmaker is still grappling with mental health challenges and requires financial support for his treatment.
“He is not feeling well. But now he is a little better. We need the help of Ghanaians for our brother now. He is not supposed to be here but because of the sickness [he had to leave Kumasi],” Ezekiel explained.
Despite efforts to secure appropriate medical care for the musician, financial constraints have hindered their ability to access certain services. Ezekiel emphasized the importance of financial support, stating that even if a solution is found, without the necessary funds, nothing can be done.
A recent video of Kwadee performing at an event surfaced online, showing him looking frail and disheveled, prompting concerns about his well-being.
Commenting on the video, Ezekiel expressed his displeasure, stating that he would not have allowed the recording to be shared on social media if he had been present at the event.
Furthermore, Ezekiel revealed that Kwadee’s father recently passed away, with the funeral scheduled for the upcoming weekend.
The family is urging the public to offer their support and assistance to Okomfour Kwadee during this challenging time as they seek the necessary medical treatment for the beloved musician.
