The ex-boyfriend of a 26-year-old female nurse named Cornfort allegedly stabbed her seven times when he paid her a visit at her house.
Our report states that the graphic incident occurred when the nurse turned down her ex-boyfriend’s request to spend the night at her house in the Kumasi area.
It stated that Comfort and her former partner separated approximately five months prior and share a 1.5-year-old child.
According to the report, Comfort’s refusal to allow her ex-boyfriend to stay over caused an argument on January 27, 2024, that ended in violence.
According to the report, the nurse sustained multiple wounds after the ex-boyfriend stabbed her seven times on her thighs and abdomen.
When her neighbors found her in a bloody pool, they rushed her to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital so that she could receive medical attention.
According to the report, the victim was saved by the hospital’s doctors and was subsequently released.
The former partner, who attempted suicide by severing his abdomen, is presently undergoing care at the hospital’s emergency department.
