Some delegates of the New Patriotic Party refused to vote early today during the Presidential Primaries after some aspirants failed to fulfil their promises on vote-buying.
Vote-buying has become the order of the day in Ghana politics. It also became the centre of attraction in NPP’s primaries which took place on Saturday, November 4.
Some NPP delegates came out with their full chest to express their disappointment in the aspirants for being biased in their vote-buying bid and insisted they would never for any of them until their votes were purchased.
It has been reported that over 200 delegates in the Suame Constituency in the Ashanti Region threatened to boycott the presidential primaries if they did not receive money from Kennedy Agyapong.
Another set of delegates in the Bodi constituency in the Western North region are demanding money before voting for any of the candidates.
