The New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Loyal Ladies have congratulated all of the party’s successful parliamentary candidates and urged them to maintain dignity and modesty as they prepare for the 2024 elections.

To choose parliamentary candidates for orphan constituencies, the NPP held its parliamentary primaries on Saturday, December 27, 2023. The elections were managed by the Electoral Commission (EC).

Nii Noi Nortey and Jefferson Sackey from the Klottey Korle and Ablekuma Central Constituencies, respectively, were two of the noteworthy winners. In the Jaman South Constituency, Colonel Kwadwo Damoah, a former Commissioner of the Customs Division at the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA), prevailed.

The National Youth Authority (NYA) Chief Executive Officer, Pius Enam Hadzide, won the Asuogyaman parliamentary primary.

In the Prestea Huni Valley parliamentary primary, Barbara Oteng Gyasi prevailed, and in the Odododiodioo primary, Abdul Manaf Nii Adjei Sowah emerged victorious. The NPP Loyal Ladies urged the candidates not to let them down in a press release, saying that these wins demonstrate the party’s faith in them.

“Congratulations to the winners of the NPP Parliamentary primaries, NPP Loyal Ladies. The NPP Loyal Ladies would like to congratulate every winner of the recently held NPP parliamentary primaries from the bottom of our hearts. Your triumph is evidence of your diligence, commitment, and the faith that the party’s members have in you.

We are confident that you will continue to serve the party and its members with the utmost honesty and commitment.”

“We want to let those who lost know how much we respect their bravery and tenacity. We understand that this might be a difficult moment, but we beg you to see it as an opportunity for growth and learning.

Your participation in the party’s primaries is indicative of your commitment, and we believe your contributions will be significant in the upcoming general elections.”
