NPP GAR Regional Chairman discredits global infoanalytics research

The Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Divine Agorhum, has raised concerns about the credibility of research conducted by Global InfoAnalytics.

Agorhum has expressed doubts about the reliability of the firm’s predictions and has questioned their accuracy in reflecting actual ground realities.

In a recent interview with Nana Yaa Brefo and Isaac Ekow JB on Yen Nsempa, Onua FM, Agorhum pointed out a past instance where Global InfoAnalytics’ prediction of Kwasi Nyantakyi winning the Ejisu By-elections turned out to be inaccurate. This led him to dismiss their credibility and urge caution in trusting any findings that suggest a potential victory for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) based on their assessments.

Agorhum’s comments come in the wake of Executive Director of Global InfoAnalytics Musah Danquah revealing insights into regional preferences in Greater Accra, which indicate strong support for John Mahama. However, Agorhum has chosen to focus on more pressing issues, such as the ongoing electricity crisis in Ghana.

He emphasized the NPP’s dedication to addressing the electricity challenges and assured the public that effective solutions are being implemented. Agorhum stressed that prioritizing the resolution of the current crisis is paramount as the country approaches the upcoming elections.
