Right-back for Liverpool Neco Williams has joined Nottingham Forest for a fee of £16 million.
The Wales international spent the second half of last season on loan at Championship winners Fulham.
The 21-year-old Williams spent the second half of last season on loan with Fulham, where he appeared in 14 league games, scoring twice and assisting on two others.
After completing his move from Liverpool to Nottingham Forest, Neco Williams issued an emotional statement.
The 21-year-old had been a Liverpool player since he was six years old.
Williams, however, joined Premier League newcomers Forest on Monday according to several media outlets.
Williams said goodbye to Liverpool after signing a four-year contract with Forest, writing on Twitter: (15 years at this special club, thank you for everything @LFC ).
(It’s been a privilege to play for this club and under Jurgen Klopp. But now I’ve decided to take on a new challenge).
(I wish everyone on the team and the staff the best of luck in the future and will always support them), the Welsh international added.
