A tourist who became famous when his family terrorized New Zealand while on vacation has been discovered dead.
His family’s antics were so well-known among residents that a petition with 10,000 signatures was created urging that “the boisterous visitors be deported.”
The Mayor of Auckland has also referred to them as “worse than pigs.”
Tributes have begun to pour in for Nolan, who was laid to rest earlier this week.
There has been no information released about the circumstances surrounding his death.
Jimmy Nolan, also known as James Anthony Nolan, died earlier this month.
His family got known as the “disorderly vacationers” after causing mayhem while on an extended vacation in New Zealand in 2019.
They are accused of refusing to pay for meals, damaging their flat, and stealing a journalist’s phone.
Other members of the family were convicted of stealing, while Nolan was accused of driving a car towards a woman who was filming him.
The visitor was also detained for his claimed involvement in a roofing fraud in the nation.
