In 1976, Pattiz established the radio syndication business Westwood One. It developed into one of the top media corporations in the world and the biggest radio network in America.

Before he became the successful entrepreneur that we know, Pattiz started his journey from humble beginnings. He worked in the sales department at KCOP TV 13 in Hollywood.

From there he became a member of the University of California’s board of regents in 2001 and presided over the board’s oversight committee for the Department of Energy Laboratories.

He however had to resign from his post because of a sexual harassment allegation leveled against him by a staff member of the university.

The arrangement for his final internment has not been communicated to the general public yet. We will update this post with it as soon at it is released by his family.
