Black Queens head coach, Nora Hauptle, is preparing her team for a tough challenge as they gear up to face Japan in a highly-anticipated international friendly match. Hauptle revealed that the team has a smart plan in place to tackle the formidable Japanese side.

Japan, who were World Champions in 2011 and are currently ranked number seven in the world, will provide a tough test for the Black Queens. Hauptle sees this as an opportunity for her team to improve in various areas, including ball possession and defensive organization.

“We know Japan is a high-class team with excellent transitioning moments and good observation of their opponents. We need to be smart in defense and present a game plan that will surprise our opponents,” Hauptle said.

The friendly match, scheduled for Saturday, July 13, will take place at the Kanazawa Go Go Curry Stadium. Hauptle is confident that her team will give their best performance and is looking forward to seeing how they will fare against such a strong opponent. The Black Queens are determined to make the most of this opportunity to learn and grow as a team.
