Alan Kyerematen has openly declared his intention to run for president as an independent, according to a prominent member of the Movement for Change.
He denied any communication between Kyerematen and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) about a potential comeback, saying that Kyerematen is ready for the election and will win.
Asamoah addressed rumors about Kyerematen’s political inclinations by saying, “I want to state categorically that nobody from the NPP has contacted him about his possible return to the NPP.”
He went on, “He has also not shown any interest in rejoining the NPP.”
Asamoah emphasized Kyerematen’s intention to run as an independent, making it clear that no talks are taking place between Kyerematen and the NPP at this time.
The well-known Movement for Change member went on to denounce the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) as self-serving organizations with no real care for the welfare of Ghanaians.
Speaking in support of Alan Kyerematen’s independent presidential campaign, Asamoah emphasized Kyerematen’s dedication to thwarting corruption and advancing the interests of the country.
In response to rumors that Kyerematen would rejoin the NPP, Asamoah flatly denied that Kyerematen had spoken with the party’s leadership about the prospect.
He reaffirmed Kyerematen’s steadfast intention to running for president as an independent, highlighting his will to steer Ghana toward progress and prosperity.
