Airmiess Joseph Asghedom, known professionally as Nipsey Hussle, was an American rapper, entrepreneur, and activist. Nipsey Hussle was on the fast edge of rising to fame until it was cut short when he was assassinated on March 31, 2019, in Los Angeles, California, United States by Eric Holder, a man believed to have been his friend who confronted Hussle earlier that day.
Holder was arrested and charged with murder two days later and was found guilty of first-degree murder on July 6, 2022. On February 22, 2023, Holder was sentenced to 60 years of life in prison.
