Nikolai Tokarev is one of such names on the list of oligarchs under scrutiny. Born December 20, 1950, Tokarev is a Russian oligarch and businessman.
Tokarev worked at Transneft’s foreign economic block and foreign projects department from 1999 to 2000.
Between 2000 through 2007, he served as the president of the Russian energy corporation Zarubezhneft. Tokarev has been the president of the Russian pipeline business Transneft since October 2007. Since June 2009, he has also served on the company’s board of directors.
He has served on the board of directors of Rosneft, a Russian integrated energy business, since October of that year.
