Nollywood actress Shan George is currently in distress after being swindled of her life savings amounting to N3.6 million.
In a heartbreaking video that went viral on social media, the actress revealed that she discovered the significant amount missing from her Zenith bank account.
According to Shan George, the money was mysteriously transferred to an Opay account under the name Cecilia Chisgoziem Okoro. Desperate for help, she took to Instagram to share screenshots of the fraudulent activity as evidence, urging Nigerian authorities and her followers to assist her in recovering the stolen funds.
In a plea for support, Shan George expressed her dire situation, stating that she has been left with nothing and is concerned about providing for her children. She lamented on the financial setback, questioning how she would feed her family in the absence of her life savings.
