Nigel James Gibbs (born November 20, 1965) is a former English professional football manager and player. He formerly served as an assistant coach at Swansea City and as a coach with Tottenham Hotspur’s Under-19 squad.
Gibbs, a Watford fan and product of their youth system, spent his whole professional career as the club’s right back. He was named as Leeds United’s assistant manager on April 12, 2013, alongside Brian McDermott, whom he assisted at Reading. He departed from Leeds United in August 2014.

Gibbs made his Watford debut in front of 38,000 fans in a UEFA Cup encounter against Sparta Prague in 1983. Gibbs also played nine times for England’s junior team and five times for England’s under-21 team in his early career.
Gibbs finally established himself as a first-team player at Watford under Graham Taylor’s management, making 100 Football League appearances before the club’s relegation from the First Division in 1988.
Gibbs remained an important member of the squad in the Second Division and was named Watford F.C. Player of the Season in 1992.
