Nicholas Clayton Mullens (born March 21, 1995) is an American football quarterback for the National Football League’s Minnesota Vikings (NFL). He played collegiate football with the Southern Miss Golden Eagles, when he broke Brett Favre’s single-season throwing yards and touchdown pass record (4,476). (38). From 2017 to 2020, he was a member of the San Francisco 49ers. Mullens was also a member of the Philadelphia Eagles.
Mullens was born on March 21, 1995, in Little Rock, Arkansas to Suzanne and Mark Mullens and grew up in Hoover, Alabama, a Birmingham suburb. He is the grandson of Ernie Tabor, who pitched in the minor league system of the Philadelphia Phillies in the 1950s.
Scott Tabor, his uncle, pitched for the Arkansas Razorbacks and owns the school record for most career victories. He also pitched in the lower leagues professionally. Mullens graduated from Hoover’s Spain Park High School.
