Nick Benedict was an American actor, perhaps best known for his roles on daytime soap operas. His father was actor and director Richard Benedict. He made his debut in 1955 in the series Wiretapper as a child. His first performance as an adult was in Mike and the Mermaid at the age of 17.
Benedict died of complications from spinal surgery on July 14, 2023, his 77th birthday.

Benedict is the son of Richard Benedict his father and Paula Lindenbaum his mother. His father was s actor and director. His mother died in 2009 at the age of 91. His father died of a heart attack at Studio City, Los Angeles, on April 25, 1984, and was interred in Forest Lawn – Hollywood Hills Cemetery, in the Churchyard section.
